Busy

Life has been so busy. When I got home from Tennessee I started an internship the next day. It is at Fuel Marketing and I am a PR intern. I really like it and its so nice to be doing something that will help me get a full time job. I feel like after you graduate from college you are expected to go out and get your career no problem, but with how things are in the job market it is a lot easier said then done. It can be the most frustrating thing in the world. I am so glad to have something that is leading me in the right direction.

Tennessee

So I am home from Tennessee and I have to say the trip was a total success. Here are some of the reasons it was a great weekend.
1. The bruins won. ESPN was saying Tennessee had it in the bag but the Bruins showed their stuff and pulled it off.
2. Knoxville has the nicest people on the planet. Talk about southern hospitality, after the game we went to eat and we had about 6 different people come up to us and congratulate us on UCLA's win.
3. The Food. Some really good bar-b-que and waffle house.

All in all we had a great time.

Go Bruins!

I am So EXCITED! I am going to Knoxville, Tennessee for the weekend. UCLA is playing the University of Tennessee on Saturday so Eric's family (the most die hard UCLA fans ever) are going down south to see the game. I am excited for the game but truth be told I am way more excited for the food. I LOVE barbecue and plan on eating only that when I am down there. You heard me right. Breakfast, lunch and dinner all BBQ and preferably ribs. I will give you a report on how the trip was and most importantly how the food was. So excited!

GO BRUINS!

Insomnia

So anyone who knows me knows that I do not have a hard time sleeping. I pride myself in being able to sleep anywhere at any time. Recently though that has changed. Every night for the past 5 days I get in bed, read my book for about 20 minutes, lie in my bed with my mind going a mile a minute for about 20 minutes or until I realize that I am not going to bed anytime soon, get up and surf the internet until I have exhausted that resource then just watch TV till I can fall asleep, which usually ends up being around 4-5 o'clock in the morning. I hate it! I have a theory that Eric is slipping me cocaine so that I will not be able to sleep and he will have the bed all to him self, or maybe he is slipping me Meth in hopes that I will clean the apartment outrageously well in my Meth-induced state. Or maybe I have slept so much prior to my recent insomnia that my body has decided I don't need anymore sleep. I think these are all good theorys that I will research and hopefully crack the case on my inability to sleep at night.

Amazing

I am no art expert and I claim to know nothing about architecture but I think the work of Frank Gehry is amazing. I took an architecture class my first semester of college, truth be told I slept through most of the it, one thing that stuck with me was the masterpieces of Frank Gehry. The building above is the Guggenheim in Bilbao, Spain. I would encourage everyone to look up some of his other buildings because this man is a master at his art.
