That 70's show

I have always been a fan of the 1970's decade. From the music to the fashion, the 70's had a very fun loving vibe that I totally dig. To prove I have always been a fan lets flash back to my 6th grade graduation. The theme was Saturday Night Fever and as you can see from the photo below I defiantly embraced the theme (PS how young does Dev look! I guess that was over ten years ago). That nigh I self appointed myself the dancing queen because I was dancing like I never danced before, and because I was a little self absorbed.

Lately I have been feeling that groovy vibe again and been putting that 70's vibe in my wardrobe. Below I will show you some of my 70's fashion inspirations.

This photo of Farrah Fawcett is probably the most famous images from the 1970's. Farrah is rockin' her one piece bathing suit. Lately the one piece suit has had a major comeback and I am loving it.

I recently cut straight bangs which I have previously stated I cannot pull off but now I believe I can. As you can see in the below image from French Vogue, this was a popular look in the decade.

And lastly, below the knee skirts along with maxi skirts and dresses were big in the 70's and have been popping up everywhere, which I love. These skirts and dresses are so sweet and feminine and I really love the look.

These are some few 70's styles that I am glad have come back in fashion. Now I have to go and do some karaoke to the 1970's classic I will Survive.
