Happy Birthday America
For the 4th of July this year; Dev, Beck, Ashley (older sister), Ryan (older sisters husband), Eric and I went to Blanding, Utah. In case you do not know where Blanding is, please refer to the map above. Look to the bottom right, that star all by itself, that is Blanding. Now don't let that name or location fool you, Blanding is bumpin'. I mean it has a Subway and an A & W restaurant, what more can you ask for.
On the 4th Blanding does a big celebration which includes a pancake breakfast, a parade, a fair and an amateur boxing matches (and by amateur we mean 7 year old kids boxing as their dads cheer them on from the sidelines, and in case you were wondering, it is as weird and unsettling as it sounds). The day finishes with a firework show (of course) and, I must say, it is pretty impressive for a town that has a population 3,162 people. All in all, Blanding knows how to celebrate Americas birthday, and because of it, we had a really fun 4th of July.
In honor of the 4th, I would like to thank all the service men and women who risk their lives to keep our country safe. Thank you.

you forgot to mention the only stop light that only flashes red. i wish i could have been there but alas, the only celebrating i did was missing some fireworks that i mistook for the sound of someone popping popcorn. oh well, nbd. america knows i still love it.
